Starting my stamp collecting

Hi, I'm just starting out in collecting stamps. As a programmer I am also developing a software database to help me collect and trade in postage stamps. My main focus is going to be stamps from Solomon Islands as I spent three years there way back in the early eighties. So far I have just started developing the list of fields for the database and now set up this blog for publishing and tracking events.
